Human Resources and Talent Management

My story with HR Management

  • From an early age, I have been attuned to people's ideas and emotional nuances, facilitating effective communication. My interest in Human Resources Management was sparked in high school when I led the HR department of my school's Model United Nations club, an experience that inspired me to minor in HR Management during my undergraduate studies.

Throughout my undergraduate education, I delved into training methods and talent development, finding the processes both fascinating and rewarding. I engaged in several HR Management projects, including interviewing professionals to deepen my understanding of KSAOs and conducting self-assessments to identify personal strengths and weaknesses. When I faced the challenge of job information overload while seeking employment in China, I recognized the need for improved solutions. This realization led me to design a platform aimed at supporting job-seeking candidates more effectively.

Further details of my HR Management projects and related software development experience are available on my CV page.

    • HR Management Project: Understanding KSAOs:  an in-depth job position analysis including the design of situational/fit/behavioral interview questions and the comparison of KSAOs on O*Net.

    • Your Assistant of Employment Software: designed a user-friendly platform for recruitment services (for both job seekers and the company), including features like recommendations, new jobs updates, look at nearby jobs, famous enterprises recruitment information, and other functional modules.

  • With a background in statistics and HR management, I believe that HR can benefit immensely from data analytics and AI tools.

    • Data-Driven Talent Acquisition: Leveraging data to identify the best talent more efficiently and reduce biases in the hiring process.

    • Employee Development and Retention: Using data to provide personalized career development paths and enhance employee satisfaction.

    • Workforce Analytics: Analyzing workforce data to improve decision-making in areas like resource allocation, team dynamics, and organizational culture.
